🗓 Date: 18 May | 🕖 Time: 7pm–9pm | 💷 Price: £30 |
About the Course
Writing for young audiences takes imagination, empathy, and a clear understanding of what makes young readers tick. In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to craft stories that speak authentically to children and teens — with voice, theme, and heart.
You’ll explore how to tailor your writing style, structure, and subject matter for different age groups, from early readers to young adults. Through discussion and guided exercises, you’ll learn how to balance entertainment with emotional truth, handle complex themes with care, and write characters that younger readers truly relate to.
Whether you’re writing picture books, middle-years fiction, or YA novels, this workshop will help you develop stories that inspire, challenge, and connect with your audience.
